14-15 months

Time is flying and I can't believe my baby is now such a little man. Colin is such a chatterbox, trying to repeat everything we say lately. Colin continues to be a very active little boy and loves climbing on anything he can. Colin is really starting to communicate more and more and if he can't tell me what he wants or needs then he will usually show me. The other day he slipped and fell on a toy and when I went over to see if he was okay he pointed at the toy then layed back down on the ground where he fell to show me exactly how it happened. He is too funny, all we do is laugh at him. Colin loves an audience and will do anything to get a reaction out of you, and once he does he will do it over and over again. Lately when he gets really excited about something he yells and runs in place, it is the cutest thing! Colin loves reading, dancing, coloring, playing, and anything Sesame Street.

Colin just went for his 15 month check up. Colin weighs 26 lbs and is 32 and half inches long. He is 76 percentile for weight and 88 percentile for height. Colin is a true monkey and really living up to his nickname lately. Yesterday he freaked mommy and daddy out by getting his leg stuck through one of his crib slats (and let me tell you the boy does not have chicken legs). I have no idea how he did this but he was stuck all the way up to his thigh and his leg was bruised and swollen and mommy had to have the Marshfield Fire Dept come and rescue him. They had to saw him out, so now he is sleeping in a pack n play again until he gets a new crib. It was a traumatic day for all! Needless to say he definitely keeps us busy but is such a joy to have around!
